Losing my wireless network connection when waking Vista from sleep mode
I've had my new Sony Viao for a few months now. Unforutnately it's come preinstalled with the new Windows Vista operating system. In hindsight I probably should have just got a Mac. Aside from various intermittent problems causing Windows to crash, one of the most annoying issues was connecting to our wireless network.
I've now discovered the solution to this problem! Since it's taken me three months to discover this solution, I feel I should post about it.
Whenever I woke up my laptop from either Sleep or Hibernation I would termporarily get 30 seconds of internet connection, after which my connect would be dropped. I found that I could fix this by doing an ipconfig /renew - however, after a while this becomes really tedious. You can now download a patch from Microsoft's website which fixes all this.

Thanks. This problem has bugged the living daylights out of me and a couple of friends. Looking forward to downloading and fixing. Thanks again.
